Software
Two Obsidian plugins for longform writers, built to carry a manuscript from first draft to final edit.
Both plugins live inside your Obsidian vault and work directly with your scene notes and frontmatter — Radial Timeline to see your story’s shape, and Editorialist to manage every round of edits. A new top level Radial Timeline folder will be created to store all of the various files including manuscript exports, author progress reports and logs.
Radial Timeline
circa 2024
Radial Timeline helps writers see the shape of a story. Map scenes by act, subplot, narrative order and chronology, then move between timeline views to understand structure, rhythm, and publication readiness at a glance. Hover synopses, manuscript analysis, optional AI integration, and Markdown or PDF export make it a complete planning and revision toolkit.

Editorialist
circa 2026
Editorialist turns outside feedback into a controlled revision workflow inside Obsidian. Import review batches from human editors, beta readers, or AI directly into the scene notes you’re already editing; suggestions are matched conservatively against your text so the correct scenes are highlighted. Step through your line edits using the toolbar in context across manuscript scenes and accept, reject, rewrite, defer, or archive each one — applying expand, condense, cut, revise, move, and memo edit types as you go.
